Building Trust Through UX Microcopy – Clarity & Compliance in Form Design (@a major consumer comparison platform)
The issue: Users were hesitant to complete a form (credit sign up) due to missing data security messaging.
The solution: Strategically added a message “Your data is safe and encrypted” near the input fields. We tested placement (above vs. below), tone, and color.
Collaboration: Worked with legal/compliance and product to align on wording.
Outcome: 15% increase in form submissions.
This microcopy may seem small, but it served a critical purpose: building trust in a privacy-sensitive flow.
By clarifying how we protect personal data, we reduced friction and showed users we value transparency.

The solution: Developed a newsletter structure.
Collaboration: Worked with customer care to align on wording.
Outcome: Turned sporadic communication into a reusable, brand-aligned messaging framework and higher opening rate.
